We are actively hiring Security Engineers TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join our team working in Northern Virginia. You will be responsible for addressing, supporting and implementing Customer directed duties, tasks and objectives specific to unique Customer projects and programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct research, evaluate system configuration data, and provide recommendations to enhance security posture of network and infrastructure
The selected applicant will need to understand network protocols to identify attack points that could be exploited by an adversary and work with the team to implement changes to mitigate potential weaknesses/vulnerabilities
Perform network traffic analysis of organizational systems to analyze raw packet data and identify anomalous behavior
Conduct computer forensics and security vulnerability analysis using commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and/or customer provided tools
Evaluate cloud services, web applications, and commercial-off-the-shelf software and hardware
Identify gaps in cybersecurity systems and processes to reduce organizational risks
Offer innovative cyber defense solutions to protect customer systems
Participate in the penetration test lifecycle to understand threats and recommend solutions
Understand and recommend industry best practices for the configuration of Networks and Linux and Windows Machines
Leverage analytical tools like Splunk and Wireshark among others to assist in the analysis
Knowledge of stand-alone automated configuration management systems (Chef Solo, Ansible, Kickstart)
Knowledge of defensive and IT best practices. Ability to pay attention to details, ensuring accuracy in documentation and data
Experience with stored documents, facilitate text-based searches; prepares, scans/digitizes, and archives hardcopy documents
Work travel may be available on an ad hoc basis
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Developmental:
REQUIRED: Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline OR 6 years of experience working in a relevant field in the respective discipline. Consequently, 7-10 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree. Must include 1-4 years of IC experience including experience with automated configuration management systems, defensive cyber and information technology best practices and/or experience with stored documents, text-based searches, digitization, scanning, archival of documents.
Full Performance:
REQUIRED: Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline OR 6 years of experience working in a relevant field in the respective discipline. Consequently, 11-13 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree. Must include 5-7 years of IC experience including experience with automated configuration management systems, defensive cyber and information technology best practices and/or experience with stored documents, text-based searches, digitization, scanning, archival of documents.
Senior:
REQUIRED: Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline OR 6 years of experience working in a relevant field in the respective discipline. Consequently, 14-16 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree. Must include 8-10 years of IC experience including experience with automated configuration management systems, defensive cyber and information technology best practices and/or experience with stored documents, text-based searches, digitization, scanning, archival of documents.
Expert:
REQUIRED: Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline OR 6 years of experience working in a relevant field in the respective discipline. Consequently, 17+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree. Must include 11+ years of IC experience including experience with automated configuration management systems, defensive cyber and information technology best practices and/or experience with stored documents, text-based searches, digitization, scanning, archival of documents.
