Who You Are

Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman. May provide some Plumbing Foreman responsibilities on smaller projects. Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities. Moves materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site. Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems in support of plant construction and maintenance activities. Provides leadership, instruction, and guidance to lower-level craftsmen and may reassign work delegated by supervisor. Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties and activities as directed.

This role will be located in Chantilly, VA , and will be expected to travel between our facilities in Chantilly and Springfield, VA. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.

What You’ll Do

As a Master Plumber, you will:

  • Install and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

  • Read blueprints and design specifications to layout the plumbing system.

  • Diagnose complex plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.

  • Supervise and train junior plumbers.

  • Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.

  • Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.

  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required.

  • Valid master plumber's license.

  • Backflow certification preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in plumbing work, including management experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.

  • Strong problem-solving and management skills.

  • High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.

  • Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.

  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.

  • Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
