ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Software Engineer to join on our team in the Chantilly, VA area. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

*​​Building software and web development

*​Driving software design, development, integration, configuration management, transition planning, acceptance testing, and deployment activities.

*​Continuous IntegrationAutomated TestingDevOps.​ Basic Qualifications:

*​​Experience with Agile software development experience JavaJEE, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, GitLab, ElasticSearch, Grafana, Kibana.

*​Experience with Web Development.

*​Experience with Cloud-based technologies (familiarity with AWS service offerings).

*​Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline.

*​Experience with designing and documenting microservice-based architectures.

*​Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

*​Experience with distributed systems (services and databases).

*​Experience with developing /debugging and/or testing of web applications and web services.

*​Experience with Test, Verification, and Deployment.

*B.S. in a technical field with 2 years of software engineering experience OR Masters Degree in a technical field with 0 years of systems engineering experience. ​ Security Clearance Requirements:

*An active and current ​TS/SCI w/ poly​ is required. Physical Requirements:

*Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

*The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

*Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

*The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
