Who You Are

Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman. Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities. Insures highest quality, standards are instilled in all installations. Moves materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site. Maintains, repairs, and replaces or installs a broad range of electrical equipment and support systems in support of base construction and maintenance activities. Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Responsible for identifying proper materials required for specific installations, submitting material requisitions through the procurement process and following up with materials and/or logistics personnel until received. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties and activities as directed.

This role will be located in Chantilly, VA, and will be expected to travel between our facilities in Chantilly and Springfield, VA. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.

What You’ll Do

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical controls, wiring, and lighting systems.

• Read technical diagrams and blueprints.

• Perform general electrical maintenance.

• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.

• Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.

• Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.

• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of proven experience as an electrician.

• Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.

• Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter etc.).

• Valid license to practice profession.

• Must Possess an active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with an adjudicated CI polygraph.

• Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.

• Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.

• Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
