ManTech Computer Forensics Software Engineer (Early Career) in Chantilly, Virginia

ManTech has a need for a Software Engineer in Chantilly, VA. Join a highly recognized elite team of technical leaders delivering advanced Digital Forensics solutions to government agencies. As a Software Engineer, you will work on a team that has high visibility and has been well received by the Intelligence Community (IC). You will have the opportunity to work across several software projects as part of a small team of developers working very closely with end users. Your coding efforts will have high visibility, usage and impact. We take pride in solving difficult technical challenges and creating new capabilities and tools that have a significant impact on our nation’s security.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and modify existing forensic tools created in .NET or Python

  • Work with forensic engineers to automate the processing of forensic artifacts

  • Develop new software solutions based on team tasking and customer needs.

  • Work with the end users to integrate new capabilities or requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with coding in C#, C++, or Python

  • B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Cyber Security or other relevant technical field from an accredited college or university

  • Knowledge of the Digital Forensics field

  • Active/Current TS/SCI with polygraph clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with JavaScript Framework such as Angular, vue.js, React or others

  • Experience with UI Development

  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Active/Current TS/SCI with polygraph
