Who You Are

Under direct supervision, Barber will provide services for both men and woman that include haircuts, trims, eyebrow maintenance, and waxing (from the shoulders up). Barber must be able to comply with public facility sanitation requirements including Barber and Beauty Shop Requirements, Health and Personal Hygiene of Barber and Beauty Shop Hairdressers, Taking Care of and Disinfecting of Instruments, prefectural, and national laws, rules, ordinances, and regulations. Barber must possess sound knowledge of basic hairstyles and trends, ability to follow instructions, ability to stand for extended periods, and exceptional customer service skills.

This role will be located in Chantilly, VA, and will be expected to travel between our facilities in Chantilly and Springfield, VA. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.

What You’ll Do

As a Barber, you will:

• Cut, trim, and shape hair or hairpieces based on customers' instructions, hair type, and facial features.

• Shave, trim and shape beards and mustaches.

• Provide facial treatments and scalp massages.

• Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.

• Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.

• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Valid barber license.

• 3+ years of proven experience as a barber.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Good hand-eye coordination.

• This position requires a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A Secret level Security Clearance is required to start. Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.

• Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.

• Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
