Perform software development duties for digital platform. Lead and execute all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including planning, design, documentation, coordination with internal and external software development teams, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Develop and maintain high-quality, well-tested code for deployment in production environments, with a focus on performance optimization. Engage in software development using multiple programming languages, including TypeScript, Python, Java, and SQL. Adapt and apply different coding standards and best practices appropriate to each language. Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) jobs utilizing Apache Spark, enhancing data processing and integration capabilities. Craft and execute SQL database queries to support the development of new software features, ensuring data integrity and efficiency. Apply advanced testing methodologies using frameworks such as Mocha and Chai to ensure code reliability and robustness through unit testing. Configure and manage development environments, leveraging AWS infrastructure services including but not limited to AWS Lambda, AWS EventBridge, AWS Glue, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CloudWatch for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), monitoring, and infrastructure management. Collaborate with the Product team to translate business requirements into scalable software solutions, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs. Facilitate the integration of third-party vendor solutions and APIs into the companys product ecosystem, managing technical communications and integrations with external partners. May require flexible work hours to accommodate collaboration with different time zones. May work from home.
