They are seeking an ideal candidate who possesses a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Inspector II, encompassing visual, in-process, and final dimensional inspections on materials, components, and subassemblies. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating the calibration of test equipment and fixtures to ensure accurate measurements. Furthermore, assisting in the development and updating of inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists, as well as executing detailed inspections using CMM, vision systems, plate inspection, and various hand tools.

Summary:

Responsible for inspection of incoming products and internally manufactured products. Must demonstrate proficiency setting up and operating CMM, MicroVu (multisensor), hand tools, and plate for part inspection. Assist on the shop floor with first piece buy-off, in-process inspection, final inspection, and incoming inspection.

Essential Functions:

  1. Working knowledge of GD&T; when and how to use inspection equipment such as micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges, pin gauges, gauge blocks and plate inspection.

  2. Assists in creating and updating of inspection procedures, protocols and checklists.

  3. Demonstrates ability to setup and measure product using CMM, vision, plate and other hand tools.

  4. Coordinates calibration of test equipment and fixtures.

  5. Implement and maintain quality requirements and standards (ISO 9001:2015) for the development and manufacture of products.

  6. Maintain all quality records and documentation for manufacturing facility in accordance with the quality manual and customer specific requirements.

  7. Performs required inspections in accordance with drawing, specifications, standard work and planning requirements.

  8. Perform visual, in-process and final dimensional inspections using standard measurement instruments on tightly tolerance materials, components and subassemblies in the production areas.

  9. Visual inspection and basic dimensional measurements of incoming materials.

  10. Documentation of non-conformances on materials, parts or processes.

  11. Reviews supplier paperwork, verifying material pass/fail criteria against engineering inspection requirements.

  12. Perform detailed inspections on both Electrical and Mechanical components at the piece part level and sub-assembly level.

  13. Must be able to operate ERP, have computer knowledge and the ability to learn new programs

  14. Complies with department ISO 9001 Quality Procedures and Policies

  15. Maintains inspection records and inspection reports

  16. Participate in internal quality audits

  17. Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents and reports.

  18. Interface with supplier quality representatives concerning problems with quality assurance and assure that effective corrective action is implemented

Pay Details: $40,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
