Insight Global Etch Technician in Chandler, Arizona

Job Description

Responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on manufacturing equipment in Chandler Fab Etch area.

The tasks include, but are not limited to:

-troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic systems, pneumatic and mechanical systems

-scheduled maintenance, consumable changes, and various other activities relevant to the success of the area.

-have a solid understanding of SPC, 5s, FDC systems and demonstrate problem-solving skills.

-required to understand and follow all safety protocols when working around hazardous chemicals.

· Able to diagnose equipment alarms, read operational data and create action plans as needed.

· Able to work in a high-volume manufacturing environment, and sustain equipment with minimal direction.

· Able to use root-cause problem-solving techniques to solve complex problems on Semiconductor toolsets.

The position requires the ability to interface with other internal and external groups to ensure all safety, performance, and reliability requirements are satisfied.

The desired candidate will be required to complete documentation and train others.

· The position requires working compressed shifts, days or night

Skills and Requirements

· Education: AA, AS, AAS, in electronics or mechanical discipline is preferred.

(Education along with experience or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.)

· Experience working in a clean room environment and the ability to follow all proper protocols.

· Experience in one or more of the following platforms is required,

Applied Materials Centura 5200 (MXP, MXP+, SuperE, and DPS)

Applied Materials DPSII

ULVAC (Optima and Enviro)

LAM 4520i

Axcelis Gemini Photostabilizers (GPS)

Gasonics L350 · Preferred to be 5S certified, but knowledge of the program is required.

· Knowledge of 6 Sigma Lean Manufacturing preferred null
