Job Title: Day Porter

Job Description

The Day Porter is responsible for the cleaning, housekeeping, and light maintenance tasks within our facilities. This role involves picking up trash, cleaning windows, vacuuming, and maintaining the cleanliness of floors. The Day Porter examines the property for safety hazards, reports any issues to the Facilities Manager, ensures that cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked, and modifies cleaning scope based on needs. This role also includes ensuring that restrooms and breakrooms are clean, sanitized, and stocked. Additional duties may be required, including small facilities maintenance tasks such as fixing toilet/sink leaks, changing light bulbs, performing small paint repairs, very basic electrical/plumbing tasks, and maintaining machines by taking apart panels, cleaning, and changing fluids.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chandler, Arizona.

Work Environment

The position is based in an indoor shop environment within a defense and security company. The role requires wearing steel-toed shoes/boots, work jeans/pants, and a plain T-shirt. Working hours are from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with a willingness to work overtime and up to three Saturdays a month from 6 AM to 12 PM.
