CATALYST, AGCO's global rotational development program, is designed to offer you in-depth career experiences, ongoing mentorship, and targeted training across a range of business areas. You will be immersed in experiences that directly make a difference. Full-time CATALYST positions allow you to rotate between three or more business areas to help you prepare for your next career steps within AGCO.

We are looking for someone who is excited about a career in the Data & Analytics and enthusiastic about providing industry-leading smart farming solutions to sustainably feed our world. This program offersthree 6-month rotations in data and analytics over a total of 18 months to enhance knowledge in building database capabilities, developing analytics and advancing analytics, in addition to essential business and soft skills. Program start dates include January or May 2025.

Upon successful completion of the program, you will have career opportunity as a Data Scientist, Data Engineer, or other roles at AGCO. Your Impact

  • Develop statistical analysis and AI/machine learning techniques to conduct descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics use cases in support of making farmers more productive and profitable.

  • Leverage analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets.

  • Develop data-driven solutions to difficult business challenges which will enable industry leading, smart farming solutions.

  • Contribute to the adoption and advancement of analytics maturity within AGCO through the collaboration with stakeholders, delivery of insights and explanation of analysis.

Travel Requirement: <20% for meetings, trainings, rotations, and events.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will not need sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.

  • Must be willing to relocate within the United Sates during the program.

  • Advanced analytics skills (Python, R, SAS, SQL etc.) to conduct statistical and machine learning analysis.

  • Familiar with cloud technologies for model development and deployment.

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Experience with big data computing frameworks for processing of large data volumes (AWS Glue, EMR and Sagemaker) preferred.
