DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will oversee the operations of the PENNDOT Welcome Centers and will report to either the Welcome Center Division Manager. You will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient information and resources to visitors in order to enhance their travel experience. Additionally, you will work to enhance customer service for all stakeholders, including travelers, industry partners, internal customers, employees, and vendors. Furthermore, you will strive to improve PENNDOT's tourism outreach and strengthen partnerships within the industry.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Operates on a rotating 6 week schedule Hours:  7:00 AM to 7:00 PM; temporarily hours are 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM until further notice; 30 minute unscheduled lunch Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Tourist Information Counselor; or Two years of experience in work involving public contact; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirement: You must possess supervisory experience.
