Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of industrial maintenance experience and a strong background in motor controls and industrial 3-phase power. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and addressing breakdowns for facilities in the Chambersburg, PA area. The Maintenance Technician will work with various equipment, including material handling equipment, conveyors, electrical and mechanical equipment, and motor controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance for facilities in the Chambersburg, PA area.

• Troubleshoot and repair motor controls, PLCs, and industrial 3-phase power systems.

• Respond to breakdowns and provide immediate assistance as needed.

• Conduct general handyman tasks, such as changing lights and performing minor repairs.

• Work with conveyor systems and material handling equipment.

• Read wire diagrams and blueprints to ensure proper maintenance and repairs.

• Perform welding tasks as required.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 7 years of industrial maintenance experience.

• Expertise in motor controls and industrial 3-phase power systems (up to 480V).

• Proficiency in preventative maintenance.

• Ability to read and interpret wire diagrams and blueprints.

• Experience with conveyor systems.

• Welding skills.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities.

Work Environment

The work will be conducted primarily at our Chambersburg location, with minimal travel within a 30-minute radius. Working hours are generally 5 eight-hour days, with shifts aligned with morning and evening sorting times (2-8am and 3-10pm). Preventative maintenance is performed between 8am-4pm, with repair and replacement tasks carried out as needed. The role may require occasional travel or on-call duties to address urgent maintenance needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
