We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will prepare and cook menu items according to resturant standards. Set up and stock workstations with necessary supplies and ingredients. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Follow food safety and sanitaion guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, such as chopping, marinating, and measuring. Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and customer satisfactionl. Monitor and manage food inventory to reduce waste and maintain cost control. Handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Assist with cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces and sweeping floors. Adhere to all restaurant polidies and prcedures.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a high volume kitchen. Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment. Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress effectively. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Excellent comunication and teamwork abilities. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in a hot, humid and noisy environment.
