DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Liquor Store Clerk 1, you will be responsible for engaging in customer service, operating a computerized cash register to complete sales, unloading shipments, stocking shelves, assembling displays, and cleaning the store. Care must be exercised to avoid selling merchandise to persons who are prohibited by law from purchasing alcoholic beverages. Work may also include receiving wholesale customer orders, assembling and packing cases per customer order, and loading customer orders into vehicles.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 75 hours bi-weekly. Work hours may vary from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, Sunday- Saturday. Salary:The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: No minimum experience and training required.

Special Requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation.  An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.  Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
