Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Training Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to ensure the project training curriculum is developed and training events are conducted on time in accordance with the project schedule. .

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supports the selection of the Senior Instructor.

  • Works with the Senior Instructor and the Government Action Officer to plan training events.

  • Ensures the Senior Instructor follows all steps to develop curriculum and prepare to conduct training events OCONUS.

  • Assigns Instructors and personnel to develop curriculum, translate curriculum, and provides support and quality reviews for the development of training even curriculum.

  • Works with other managers (Task Order Manager and Logistics Manager), training SMEs to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.

  • Promotes technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes.

  • Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule. Participates in weekly meeting to review project status and formulate action items.

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • 4-year degree in a technical or educational degree, or equivalent (including military experience) and at least 10+ years of related work experience is required.

  • Incumbent should have a broad general training and business background, as well as previous CWMD training experience on similar or related projects.

  • Secret Level Clearance is required

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Proven work experience as a Training Manager

  • Track record in designing and executing successful training programs​Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively

  • Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals

  • Good computer and database skills

Salary Range:

$56.25 - $101.25

This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days and will continue to be posted for an average of 30 days until a qualified applicant is selected or the position has been cancelled.
