Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sr. Contract Administrator to join our team! In this role you will get perform contract administration assignments for projects with constructed values typically in the $50 to $100 million range, with clients in the private and public sectors of domestic and foreign markets.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Drafts contracts for engineering services and construction projects, relying heavily on standards and previous contracts as a resource for terms and conditions.

  • Participates as a leading member of the negotiating team, assuming responsibility for explaining positions and resolving matters of a business nature related to the proposed contract.

  • Monitors and administers the business provisions of assigned contracts to ensure that contract requirements are met.

  • Collaborates with colleagues across organizational lines to obtain and transmit business information necessary for the Project to be successful.

  • Prepares letters to client requesting approvals and interpretations required to comply with the provisions of the contract.

  • Collaborates with appropriate Procurement personnel on project subcontract matters.

  • Monitors and prepares letters to clients notifying them of contract cost and funding limitations and requirements for additional funds.

  • Works with proposal teams in the drafting and submission of proposals, including terms and conditions, and assumptions.

  • Develops, reviews and negotiations Non-disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Joint Ventures, and other contractual documents.

  • Identifies contractual problems and takes appropriate action to ensure a satisfactory resolution. Follows up on problems demanding management attention to ensure a timely response to the client.

  • Supports and prepares Requests for Equitable Adjustments and Claims as needed on programs supported.

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, with 5+ years of prime contract administrator experience required.

  • Requires a solid working knowledge of industry business practices and contract administration principles, as well as contract negotiations experience, including working knowledge of FAR/DFAR and other FAR Supplements.

  • Candidate must also possess strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with contract administration.

  • Working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with contract administration

  • Prefer background in Engineering Services and Construction contracting for the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, Federal Aviation Administration, and other Departments of the Federal Government

  • Desire candidate with some non-Federal contracting experience, including commercial, municipal or state government contracting.

Salary Range:

$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
