Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a talented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will support the Parsons Universal Modeling & Analysis (PUMA) Lab and work closely with the Chief Scientist.

This is a hybrid role that requires 1-2 days in our Centreville office, as well as required travel to Ramstein 3 times a year.

You will be enhancing the Parsons Digital Engineering Framework (PDEF) through developing new capabilities (AI,ML, and Cloud for example) and integration of applications based on customer needs (simulation applications, data repositories, modeling applications, etc.). Our team seeks an expert in the field of modeling and simulation, while also having extensive experience in software development and comfortable in the SAFe Agile environment.

What You'll Be Doing :

  • Coordinate a team of MBSE and Analysis Personnel / Activities supporting ABAD

  • Perform Sensor Coverage Analysis and Optimization. E.g., Sensor Sighting

  • Perform Engagement, Threat, & Sensor Modeling

  • Perform MBSE Architecture Development

  • Perform Trade Studies and Analytics associated with Air Base Air Defense - travel to Europe will be required

  • Perform Command and Control Studies and Analysis

What Required Skills You'll Bring :

  • Bachelors Degree in Systems Engineering, Physics, or related field

  • 8+ years of combined experience in the different areas of responsibilities

  • MBSE Knowledge & Experience

  • Digital Twin Development Experience

  • Requirements Engineering Experience

  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Experience

  • Required Knowledge and Experience with the following Tools: Cameo Systems Modeler, Ansys ModelCenter, STK, & HFSS, AFSIM / EADSIM (AFSIM Preferred)

  • Active SECRET clearance OR eligible to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance in a reasonable timeframe.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring :

  • Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Physics, or related field

  • Certification in Systems Engineer (CSEP)

  • Experience with MATLAB

Salary Range:

$96,400.00 - $168,700.00
