Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Administrator to join our team! In this role you will get to monitor and track all IT hardware and software assets through their complete lifecycle; from the initial request, approval, procurement, installation, maintenance, and disposition using current asset management tracking applications.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop and implement hardware asset management policies and procedures.

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT hardware assets.

  • Coordinate the procurement and deployment of hardware assets.

  • Monitor hardware asset performance and ensure timely maintenance and upgrades.

  • Work with other IT teams to ensure hardware assets are properly configured and integrated with other systems.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Interact daily with Parsons’ clients and employees, finance, and procurement teams to identify, resolve, prioritize and resolve asset management issues.

  • Primary activities include hardware and software management, reporting, trending, research, problem isolation, resolution, and follow-up.

  • Use of an asset management system, basic budget management/reporting tools and common Microsoft Office tools.

  • Review and monitor the approval and completion of requests.

  • Maintain current knowledge of software or hardware changes and planning changes appropriate to the business.

  • Coordinate with HR related to terminations, new hires, and special requests such as data backup.

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business (or equivalent) and typically 2+ years of experience in asset or license management (or equivalent experience.)

  • Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency.

  • Ability to use Power BI or Power Automat for reporting.

  • Meticulous and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

  • Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner.

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • A familiarity with company policies and procedures is preferred, as well as a demonstrated ability to administer a variety of activities simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

Salary Range:

$29.42 - $51.49
