Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Control Engineer/Specialist to join our team!
In this role, you will get to assist in responsibilities related to cost control, budget control, data management, reporting and the project control system.
What You'll Be Doing:
Performs a variety of project control assignments requiring the application of basic techniques and analyses.
Assists in developing and implementing cost control support for multiple projects.
Assist the project manager with specialized reports, providing cost report information to project managers and review of procurement requisitions for funding and cost coding.
Work in applications such as with Costpoint, CER, TESS and any other project controls-specific tools (such as dashboards) to assist with these efforts.
Work with sector leads to provide support for job budgets, updates of the forecasts and the percent complete information for selected projects.
Manage sub-contractor requirements and invoicing cycles.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Experience with Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple items at once
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated strong analytical skills
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics or related field (or equivalent experience) and 0-3 years of related work experience.
Experience in dealing with various types of contracts is desired. (e.g., firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-award-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and time and material).

Salary Range:
$26.25 - $45.96
