RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES

• Work closely with ASOM on setting and achieving sales targets

• Lead and motivate fields’ staff at the counter to increase retail sales

• Review retail sales performance monthly

• Review new product sales performance

• Monitor and report to ASOM on competitors’ movements such as Sales, Promotion, Incentive Schemes, BA HC, Counter change

• Follow up on current business trend and retail environment with field staff

• Review and analyze the product assortment of individual counters and adapt the brand guidelines on counter planograms

EDUCATION AND TEAM MANAGEMENT OF BAS

• Assist and work with ASOM in recruitment of BAs, review of commission and increment packages for BA

• Evaluate the performance of BAs and work closely with education team to enhance/reinforce brand product knowledge, sales technique to improve customer experience and sales productivity performance via Counter coaching (20%) on site /virtual learning

• Coach and motivate BAs based on individual talents and skills to drive sales objectives and brand equity

• Coach BA’s on brand stories, hero products, and other important brand-specifics for ELC brands close by on the sales floor

• Plan and facilitate the conduct of BA/Generic Staff Training of smaller doors where required.

• Plan and ensure (work with APC or CM support if available) that new BAs are assimilated into the brand by providing them with concise brand introduction and understanding of basic product knowledge to enable them to perform their job and the travel-retail work environment, until formal training is arranged by the Education team

• Compute commission based on retail sales of the counters and verify claims, allowances, and incentives before submission to Finance for payroll processing

MARKETING COORDINATION

• Assist ASOM to showcase and promote new launches to Retailers during marketing presentations and to share these marketing launches, new/existing product updates information to APCs and BAs.

• Ensure all go-to-market materials and promotional elements are available on time in store to support launches.

• Provides promotions report to sales & marketing team post-campaign implementation as well as competitive intelligence on competitors’ programmes.

• Plan and work with marketing team on print / digital materials for advertising in publications/social platforms to increase new product launch/brand awareness

• Monitor and provide feedback on marketing opportunities for new, existing and competitors’ products.

PROMOTION COORDINATION

• Work with ASOM on individual retailer’s promotions proposal

• Set reasonable promotion target and effective incentive scheme/Push money

• GWP is allocated to run promotion and its Purchase Qualifier is set an optimal level to attract and increase customer purchase

• Incentive Program is developed to motivate field staff to participate and aim to achieve targets of the brand

• Work with Visual Merchandising (VM) team to create and establish communication tools for promotion/in-store programs drawings for retailer’s approval

• Work with field staff to execute promotion setup timely and effectively

• Evaluate promotion sales and incentive program results with ASOM

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

• Analyze retail sell-thru versus current inventory to understand inventory level and share feedback/recommendation to ASOM & CAM team on monthly basis

• Monitor shipments and backorders to ensure inventory is sufficient at counters

• Ensure newness is available on counter on time

• Assess inventory situation during store visits and provide ASOM with feedback on product mix and assortment

• Ordering tester/collaterals/GWP/TOA for Newness and On-going SKUs

COUNTER MAINTENANCE/ RENOVATION/ NEW

• Ensure all counter image/aesthetic adhere to brand philosophy/ brand guidelines

• Monitor expiration of Counter Visuals and ensuring all POS is updated

• Report and submit counter maintenance request (where applicable)

• Assist AMS in follow up of new counter / refurbishment drawings and ensuring that all merchandising requirements are ordered and available on the scheduled day of counter installation

• Work with VM team on the counters’ planograms and merchandising displays

• Coordinate with appointed contractors on installation schedule and receipt of necessary counter displays and visuals

• Execute the installation and work on the stock merchandising and displays of new counter with the field staff

• Compute commission based on retail sales of the counters and verify claims, allowances, and incentives before submission to Finance for payroll processing

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

· Diploma in Business Administration with a minimum of 2 years retail operation experience in Luxury Beauty, preferably in the travel retail industry.

· Good organization and communication skills.

· Good presentation skills– comfortable with virtual tools such as Zoom, Skype in addition to in-person presentations.

· Display empathy, agility with can-do attitude

· Proficient in MS Office and Excel

· Willingness to travel
