Hiring Medical Lab Technicians/Scientists for a well-respected Oncology Clinic in Centennial!

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team. The role involves specimen processing, test analyses, reporting, and maintaining records of patient results. You will send specimens to reference laboratories for tests not performed in-house and process incoming orders for lab testing. Key responsibilities include performing specimen analysis in Hematology, Coagulation, Chemistry, and Urinalysis, maintaining laboratory equipment, adhering to quality control policies, participating in proficiency testing, preparing smears, and performing manual differentials. You will also perform phlebotomy and sample collection procedures primarily at the Centennial clinic.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Week(s).

This is a fully on-site position in Centennial, Colorado.

Pay rate is negotiable depending on experience.

Work Environment

You will primarily work at the Centennial clinic, which is a smaller, lower volume clinic where you will be the only MLT/MLS in the office, with occasional support from a phlebotomist twice a week. You will also interact closely with providers, schedulers, phlebotomists, infusion nurses, and patients. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with varying days off each week, provided one month in advance. The days you would be scheduled are Monday-Friday. No weekend, overnights or holiday work. Travel to Aurora and Swedish clinics will be required, with mileage reimbursement for the furthest site.
