CNC Operator Pay: $24-$28 per hour DOE Expiration Date of Job Posting: Continuous POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team as we continue to grow our company's manufacturing capabilities. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality parts and components. You will be using sheet metal punching, laser cutting, and bending equipment. We are looking for a flexible person who can help with various shop tasks during downtime. This is an exciting opportunity for full-time employment at our headquarters in Centennial, CO. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.

  • Previous experience operating CNC machines is required.

  • Familiarity with logic controllers and programming is a plus.

  • Knowledge of CAD software for programming is a plus.

  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.

  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and measuring instruments.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications.

  • Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.

  • Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning.

  • Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.

  • Make adjustments to machine settings as needed.

  • Troubleshoot issues with machines or programs.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Develop maintenance policy and maintain consumables to ensure uninterrupted operation of equipment.

  • Light fabrication (cutting, drilling), mounting electronic components, mechanical assembly, and packaging.

  • Candidate will be working in a shop environment and must follow all safety, housekeeping, and organizational policies.

    OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Successfully complete requested training classes and maintain all necessary safety certificates.

  • Keep work area clean, organized, and hazard free.

  • Effectively utilize the Microsoft office suite.

  • Able to perform general office administrative activities of copying, filing, faxing, and using the telephone.

  • Work in a team environment.

  • Effectively manage time and follow directions.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WORK CONDITIONS:

  • Working in a shop environment and must follow all safety, housekeeping, and organizational policies.

  • Able to sit and work at computer keyboard or workstation for extended period.

  • Able to stand for long periods and have significant physical stamina.

  • Able to lift, push, pull, and move up to 60 pounds.

  • Able to climb stairs, work at heights.

  • Maintain regular and on-time attendance. Position is 40 hours per week but may exceed 40 hours per week.
