P12 Programs Coordinator

 

Serve as coordinator of the P12 Professional Development Office located within the College of Education and Family Development at Southern Utah University. The P12 Coordinator will ensure that P12 Programs day-to-day operations are operating smoothly.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Supervise and direct class and cohort billing for our partners, including reconciling bad debt, establishing new payment methods, and tracking the program budget.

• Establish new programs and pathways through our partners via endorsements, general professional development, and conference credit to expand our operations and grow our program.

• Establish and maintain general correspondence with our partners via email, zoom, and phone. Conduct new partner onboarding and monitor partner MOU's.

• Create and distribute marketing materials via email, conferences, zoom, etc.

• Supervise a small team of student workers. Monitor their daily trouble shooting with partners.

• Create and conduct semesterly partner tracking and surveys; gather and analyze the following data1. Number of Teachers2. Number of Courses Offered3. Types of Courses Offered4. Number of Participants5. Billing Pathways 6. Instructional Method (Online, Hybrid, or in-person).

• Ensure confidentiality of all secure information processed through the P12 Office.

• Track endorsement changes in both Nevada and Utah. Ensure P12 Programs is in good standing with the Boards of Education. Help monitor and implement the new APPEL, APPEL-S, and SLPD professional development initiatives.

• Craft and enforce P12 Programs Policies. Serve as a voting member of the P12 Programs Policy Committee.

• Other duties as assigned.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

 

• Bachelor's degree

• Experience utilizing Banner systems and familiarity with computer programs. Minimum of two years office experience.

• Ability to communicate effectively with partners, staff, faculty, students, and administration.

• Possess strong organizational skills to perform tasks independently, requiring little supervision.

• Qualified candidates must have a general knowledge of Southern Utah University campus.

• Experience working in MS Office and Google Suite.
