Grant Program Manager

 

Grant Project Manager to oversee the

coordination, reporting, and timely execution of grant-funded projects. The ideal candidate will primarily focus on managing reporting requirements and deadlines associated with mental health/suicide prevention grants, dedicating approximately half of their time to this critical area. Additionally, they will allocate the remaining portion of their time across 2-3 other sponsored programs, ensuring successful project management and adherence to grant guidelines.

 

This is position is dependent on funding.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Manage and oversee the implementation of assigned grant-funded projects, ensuring compliance with grant specifications, data collection, reporting deadlines, and objectives.

• Assist Principal Investigators to develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for assigned sponsored programs, including mental health initiatives.

• Coordinate closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout project execution.

• Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports, including reconciliation for financial statements, progress updates, and impact assessments, in accordance with grant requirements.

• Monitor project performance, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects, balancing priorities and deadlines to meet grant obligations.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with funding agencies, partners, and relevant stakeholders to support ongoing grant activities and foster potential future collaborations.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to mental health, suicide prevention, and grant

management.

Education and Experience Requirements:

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Public Health, Psychology, Social Sciences,

Business Administration) required.

• Strong understanding of grant compliance, regulations, and reporting requirements, with

a track record of delivering high-quality reports within deadlines.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple

priorities effectively.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse

stakeholders and build effective partnerships.

• Proficiency in project management tools, budgeting software, and Microsoft Office suite.

• Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information ethically.

Preferred Qualifications

 

• Masters Degree

• Proven experience preferred in grant project management, particularly in

mental health/suicide prevention initiatives, demonstrating successful oversight of grant-

funded projects and reporting.
