Nielsen Field Representative in Cebu City, Philippines

Nielsen is a global leader in audience measurement, data and analytics, shaping the future of media. In the Philippines, there are about 16,800 people within 4,100+ households throughout the country participating in our study.

The Field Representative will report to the Field Supervisor and will be responsible for the recruitment and on-boarding of panel households as well as conduct panel members retraining activities to ensure TAM quality KPIs are met. He or she will also perform administrative duties such as cash advance requests, expense liquidations and coordination with local suppliers or vendors.

This role will be based in Cebu City, Philippines.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews and recruitment of potential panel households

  • Orient each household member about the peoplemeter and its proper usage.

  • Conduct retraining and maintenance visits to panel homes to ensure high collaboration among panel members

  • Coordinate with the Panel Team or Technical Support Team if there are concerns in the field or panel households

  • Report daily situational incidence such as inclement weather, power interruptions, telecom service disruptions, community activities, events and the likes that are encountered during fieldwork

  • Conduct regular review of demographic characteristics to ensure up-to-date information in the database

  • Conduct quarterly coincidental surveys and security checks to maintain panel quality and confidentiality.

  • Perform signal clarity checks of different TV stations as needed.

  • Assist Mobile Panel Team in the recruitment and installation of appropriate applications into the selected TAM panelists’ phone as well as perform the necessary troubleshooting when needed

  • Provide daily updates and submit timely reports to superiors

  • Make time and attend trainings and refresher courses provided by the company

  • Attend regular coordination meetings and participate in the discussion

  • Submit regular expense reports and liquidations to Immediate superior

  • Serve as reinforcement to other areas (as needed)

  • Other tasks or assignments as required by the function and unit

Typical Position Prerequisites

  • Graduate of any courses

  • Computer literate (knowledgeable in MS Office such as excel, word, etc. and G Suite tools such as Docs, Sheets, etc.)

  • Willing to be assigned in other areas (if needed)

  • Did not work with any media companies such as TV, Radio and Print at least for the last 2 years

  • No relatives working in any media companies such as TV, Radio and Print

  • Willing to extend working hours (if needed)

  • Proficient in English and Filipino language

  • With good oral and written communication skills

  • Has good interpersonal skill and can relate well with people

  • Driving license is an advantage
