MedSpecialized, Inc. is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst!

Position Overview:

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity threats.

Work Schedule and Arrangement: Rotating Shift, Onsite

Office Location : 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu

Key Responsibilities:

Security Monitoring

• Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information

  Incident Detection and Response

• Identify and define system security requirements

• Identify and fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard

• Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents

  Security Tools Management

• Manage and operate security tools and technologies, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective.

• Contribute to the tuning and optimization of security systems to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.

  Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare detailed incident reports, including the scope of the incident, response actions taken, and recommendations for mitigation.

• Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and response activities.

  Requirements:

• Current SIEM experience/certifications would be an advantage

• Graduate of Information Technology or any related field

• Should be able to work either on a day shift or on a night shift

• Experience in Security Training is an advantage

• Knowledge of current security trends

• Knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols, network analysis, and network/security applications

• Knowledge of common Internet protocols and applications

• Basic knowledge of Windows server and Unix/Linux operating systems

• Technical knowledge in SIEM platform implementations  

• Technical knowledge in SIEM platform components and applications

• Should have technical problem-solving skills in terms of logging, integration approach and project handling 

• Knowledge how infra and application security works in cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, Google, Oracle, etc. 

• Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen creative eye for details 

   

  Salary and monetary benefits (in PHP):

• Monthly salary of 25,000PHP

• New hire bonus of 5,000php

• Monthly Risk allowance of 2,000php
