How will you make an impact with this role?

International Card Services (ICS) brings together our International Consumer and Small & Medium Size Enterprises (SME) issuing activities, as well as our Commercial Large Market sales and account development teams outside of the United States under a single organization to accelerate our growth.

Required responsibilities:

The incumbent in this position is responsible for building, developing and strengthening the relationships with Level C decision-makers and a portfolio of over 100 multi-industry clients in the mid-market segment, to maximize the spend penetration by industry and product and bring new volume.

She/he will be responsible for developing a sound commercial card growth strategy, aligning with the support groups, driving increased levels of client entrenchment, and representing the client´s point of view on critical business decisions.

This successful candidate will be accountable for growing the commercial card business through increasing billings while maximizing the marginal contribution on existing accounts, according to our company’s high service standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in commercial role, preferably in business/account development

  • In-depth knowledge of Commercial Card Business.

  • Financial & Business Knowledge

  • Develop and strengthen relationships at all levels of client organization.

  • Structured methodology for relationship management

  • Ability to develop and strengthen business relationships at C-levels.

  • Self-motivated and Strong collaboration skills.

  • Excellent negotiations and influencing skills.

  • Ability to collaborate and influence internally and externally.

  • Ability to quickly understand the complexity and nuances of Amex products/processes and resources and resolve for any issue.

  • Ability to build and motivate relationship management team.

  • Demonstrate effective oral and written presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence internal and external partners.

  • Pipeline management experience.

  • Intermediate english proven skills (written & verbal communication)
