Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
Financial Reporting
- Generate and analyze financial data for all dealership departments, providing accurate reporting to the dealer/general manager. Ensure compliance with dealership guidelines and manufacturer formats.
Financial Management:
- Prepare complete monthly financial statements.
- Control posted documents, including time records, vehicle deals, commissions, and inventory changes.
- Manage daily bank deposits and cash reports.
- Forecast cash needs and maintain an effective cash management system.
Accounting and Compliance:
- Reconcile select accounts monthly.
- Approve adjustments to inventory and receivable accounts.
- Ensure accuracy of manufacturer accounts (warranty claims, rebates, interest, etc.).
- Handle payroll, tax reports, and employee benefit payments.
Inventory and Sales Support:
Stay informed about factory incentives.
