Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

Financial Reporting

  • Generate and analyze financial data for all dealership departments, providing accurate reporting to the dealer/general manager. Ensure compliance with dealership guidelines and manufacturer formats.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare complete monthly financial statements.
  • Control posted documents, including time records, vehicle deals, commissions, and inventory changes.
  • Manage daily bank deposits and cash reports.
  • Forecast cash needs and maintain an effective cash management system.

Accounting and Compliance:

  • Reconcile select accounts monthly.
  • Approve adjustments to inventory and receivable accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy of manufacturer accounts (warranty claims, rebates, interest, etc.).
  • Handle payroll, tax reports, and employee benefit payments.

Inventory and Sales Support:

Stay informed about factory incentives.
