Robert Half Medical Scheduler in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania

Description

We are working with a local healthcare organization looking for a passionate, driven individual for a Medical Scheduler. The individual will play a key role in coordinating and scheduling the day-to-day activities of caregivers, answering telephone inquiries, handling referrals and inquiries about our programs, and managing the recruitment process.

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and coordinating day-to-day activities for caregivers, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

  • Answering telephones, handling inquiries, and taking detailed messages with professional telephone etiquette.

  • Receiving and responding to referrals and inquiries about our provided programs, converting inquiries into appointments.

  • Conducting preliminary phone screening for aspiring applicants.

  • Assisting with recruitment activities, including personnel hire, orientation, in-service training, and disciplinary actions.

  • Performing payroll duties, which include verifying timesheets, updating telephony records, and providing data inputs for payroll processing.

  • Documenting associate work records in our software system, ensuring that all caregiver personnel files are current and comprehensive.

  • Continually communicating with associates and clients to evaluate the quality of our service.

  • Responding promptly and courteously to all client calls, ensuring client satisfaction at all times.

    Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Past experience in a similar role would be a plus.

  • Proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Office and any relevant scheduling or payroll software.

  • Exceptional customer service skills with a patient and empathetic approach.

  • Strong time management skill, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
