We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Catasaqua, Pennsylvania. This role operates within the accounting industry, providing key support through the organization and verification of data.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy and correctness of data.

• Collect and organize data for easy access and understanding.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and management.

• Apply knowledge of accounting principles and local tax in daily tasks.

• Monitor and maintain customer credit records.

• Process and verify customer credit applications.

• Take appropriate action on customer accounts based on monitoring.

• Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, as the role involves extensive use of this software for various accounting tasks.

• Strong data entry skills are necessary, due to the high volume of information that needs to be processed accurately and efficiently.

• A minimum of a high school diploma is required; a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
