Covering cases all through West of Alameda County such as : Castro Valley, Oakland, Hayward,Berkeley, San Lorenzo etc. and many more.The Home care aide is a non-licensed health care employee who provides personal care and exceptional one on one services for clients who are unable to perform normal day to day activities independently.

ROUTINE DUTIES- PERSONAL CARE SERVICES: 1. Bathing, assistance with dressing, nail and skin care, back care, foot care, shampoo and oral hygiene. 2. Assistance with ambulation, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices, (walker, crutches, cane, Gait belt ) change of position. 3. Assistance with toileting; use of bedpan, commode, or urinal; incontinent care. 4. Meal planning, preparation, and assistance with feeding if needed 5. Properly manage household needs. 6. Emotional care support and motivation through conversation, encouragement in recreational activities. 7. Maintenance of appropriate agency records. 8. Present and conduct themselves in a professional manner according to agency policy. 9. Adhere to infection control and safety procedures that are in accordance with agency policy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
2. High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
3. Access to reliable transportation.
4. Previous experience caregiving for clients in homes or senior communities is a bonus.
5. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients, families, coworkers, and all supervisors. Ability to proficiently follow and process written and verbal instructions in the English language.
6. Complete CA Home Care Aide Registration.
7. Recent negative TB test or clear chest x-ray

All HOME CARE AIDE's must be able to pass LiveScan background check

POSITION DETAILS:

Pay range $18.00-$20.00 based on above-mentioned criteria and certifications

All positions are considered permanent On-Call; keep in mind we keep as busy as your availability permits
