Position Summary:
Under general guidance, inspect, analyze and repair all reported metering equipment failures in a timely manner to accurately solve a variety of discrepancies, and conduct service verification and site analysis at customer premises on all metering circuits for transformer-rated installations to ensure revenue metering accuracy.
Under general guidance, conduct preventative and regulatory testing and inspection to ensure accurate and cost-effective metering. Inspect and complete multi meter exchange projects consisting of a variety of metering configurations. Assure correct physical, programming and billing parameters for all revenue metering installations including but not limited to regulate and non-regulated business.
Assist in the design and construction of new transformer rated revenue metering installations and verification for various overhead and underground applications involving a variety of primary and secondary voltages including C&I metering, interchange metering, wholesale customer metering (EMC’s, PA’s, etc…)
Responsibilities:

Inspect, analyze and repair all reported metering equipment failures in a timely manner to accurately resolve a variety of discrepancies in order to ensure accuracy, proper equipment operation and customer satisfaction. Conduct service verification and site analysis at customer premises on all metering circuits for transformer rated installations.
Conduct preventive and regulatory testing and inspection to ensure accurate and cost effective metering, inspect and complete multiple meter exchange projects consisting of a variety of metering configurations.
Perform and/or participate in special projects and/or assignment included but not limited to storms, study teams, power.
Required/Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma and/or GED
In addition to required degree, two (2) or more years related work experience
Additional Preferred Qualifications
2 year Electronics Technical Degree
Valid state Driver’s license
1-3 years of transformer rated metering experience
Knowledge of various methods of material and metering applications
Ability to perform non-climbing functions, such as setting and removing meters
Ability to effectively handle conflict
Possess excellent interpersonal skills
Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills
Self-Motivated, ability to work along with minimal oversight
Working Conditions
Field Mobility Classification – Work will be performed in various field locations, as needed, after the onboarding period. However, field employees are required to live within a reasonable daily commute to their assigned work location.
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
Available to work on-call schedule
