As a member of our global team, you will:

  • Implement, execute, and maintain test cases on different devices and platforms.

  • Carry out technical assessments on requested features and identify the scope of test requirements.

  • Assist in troubleshooting and debugging code to find the root cause of the issues and provide detailed information to the development team.

  • Conduct static and dynamic code analysis to identify potential performance bottlenecks.

  • Perform performance benchmark testing initiatives for mobile applications to ensure optimal application performance.

  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders in executing test plans.

  • Following the established processes in the team as well as seeking opportunities to streamline and improve on them.

What you'll bring:

General Qualifications

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2+ years of experience with the Android platform and understanding of Kotlin language.

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in software test engineering including both white-box and black-box test methodologies.

  • Knowledge of the mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

  • Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance concepts, best practices, and procedures.

  • Basic knowledge of any scripting language preferably Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Kotlin, with a proven track record of testing Android applications leveraging performance, scalability, and user experience.

  • Analyze and identify code for efficiency, reliability, and performance.

  • Proficient with code versioning tools, particularly git

  • Experience working with defect tracking tools such as JIRA is required.

  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with global stakeholders

  • Prior experience in testing/validating SDK will be a big plus.

  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies will be a plus.
