We are growing! Kohler has completed construction on a new 1 million-square-foot manufacturing facility on 200 acres in the industrial corridor of Casa Grande, AZ. We are looking for passionate talent to join our leadership team. This role will be based at our Casa Grande facility and will work mainly on-site.

What We’re Looking For

Our Project Manager is a member of the Casa Grande Vikrell (CGV) Manufacturing operations organization. In this role, you will providing Project Management support for construction, installation, project additions, or other significant projects for the facility including expansions and renovations. Assure compliance with regulations, Kohler Company standards and customer defined project goals and objectives. Participate and contribute to the development of a project’s scope and content. Manage the timelines, implementations, costs, schedules and quality of the work being completed.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Skilled in providing clear recommendations when developing senior leadership reports and presenting the projects’ impacts to the plant and/or key stakeholders.

  • Proactively identify, recommend, and implement value engineering and cost saving options.

  • Primary stakeholder in recommending equipment/service selection and procurement strategy through detailed budgeting and risk identification.

  • Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations and decisions that have a direct impact on the business.

  • Utilizes KOS process improvement methodology and tool set to design and optimize Project Management Processes.

  • Partner with others to research and proactively identify, strategize, and manage risks of federal, state, and local regulatory issues.

  • Primary stakeholder in business case development and setting project performance goals prior to implementation.

  • Direct external resources including technical consultants and contractors to ensure projects and scope of work are completed on time and within budget.

  • Lead, coordinate and manage activities, tasks, and multi-disciplined resources to meet project plan goals as well as department and project objectives.

  • Build relationships to formulate an internal support network of corporate or plant functions consisting of, but not limited to finance, accounting, legal, architects, interior designers, engineers, maintenance, safety, procurement, etc.

  • Identify, create and lead complex projects and projects of broad scope under minimal supervision.

  • Expert knowledge of policies and processes for project documents, bid documents, RFI's, Contracts, or Detail Construction documents. Address and log RFI and RFQ and Change orders.

  • Utilize in-depth understanding Project Manager benchmarks and best practices related to the area of functional expertise.

  • Possess a continuous improvement mindset and imbue the culture with a sense of urgency.

  • Keep an external focus on changes within the industry and countries in which we operate.

Skills/Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction, Facilities Management or related field of study is required.

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience with proven results in areas related to project management, facilities management or related scope.

  • Working knowledge of engineering fields related to manufacturing, equipment, construction and/or related scope.

  • Previous experience working on a greenfield manufacturing project is a plus.

  • Strategic thinking, proactive leadership, good judgment, and the curiosity to identify and solve business problems and develop business plans to support growth and delight the customer.

  • An ability to embrace and utilize ever-changing technologies.

  • Ability to understand and lead cross functional problem-solving efforts to improve the overall plant operations to improve customer delivery.

  • The ability to travel, on occasion, for training and business purposes.

The salary range for this position is $117,000 - $149,500. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
