CACI seeks a talented Software Engineer to join our Software and Solutions Group, within the National Security and Innovative Solutions Sector. What You’ll Get to Do :

  • Provide software engineering and web development expertise in support of software development and day-to-day operations of system operations and maintenance activities.

  • Work on a team developing and maintaining a web-based thin-client software application.

  • Work on a team developing back-end services and processing.

  • Design and develop new capabilities/applications.

  • Derive requirements through interactions with the project management and systems engineering teams.

  • Develop, test, deploy and maintain software applications.

  • Follow Software deployment best practices.

  • Follow Configuration management workflows.

  • Support Integration testing.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering and 3+ years of related experience

  • Understanding of User Interfaces (UI)s, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards

  • Web Development Skills – Java, JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, CSS, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design, Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services, Groovy, Grails, Angular

  • Backend Development Skills –knowledge of Java language

  • Experience writing tests for front and back-end services. Software Testing (e.g. Junit, Karma/Jasmine, Cypress, etc.)

  • Experience creating and deploying Backend API’s using SpringBoot.

  • Experience working within a Docker environment.

  • Secret clearance required to start and ability obtain TS/SCI clearance.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience using build tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab and CI/CD development philosophies.

  • Linux shell scripting and build tools (e.g. Maven, Gradle, etc.)

  • Experience with Linux operating systems.

  • Experience with AWS

  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Nexus, Jenkins, Ansible and/or Foreman.

  • Experience with relational, NoSQL, and file-based storage products.

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$65,900 - $135,000
