The Reimbursement Specialist will work to utilize all available resources to secure copay assistance funding for patients in need of financial assistance. Communicate with providers regarding patient updates and documentation. Detailed note taking submitted into patient medical records. Prior Pharmacy retail experience a hug plus. This is a possible Temp To Hire opportunity. Must be able to work ONSITE but hybrid position. Qualifications:

• 1+ years experience in specialty pharmacy or retail setting.

• 1+ years experience in data entry.

• 1+ years experience working with insurance.

• 1+ years experience in patient facing role/patient care.

• Highly detail oriented.

• Prior Authorization Submission experience a plus.

• Excellent customer service and support

salary: $19 - $22 per hour

Responsibilities

• Utilize all available resources to secure copay assistance funding for patients in need of financial assistance.

• Communicate with providers regarding patient updates and documentation.

• Detailed note taking submitted into patient medical records.

• Obtain and investigate patients pharmacy coverage to determine eligibility/contracting/next steps.

• Manage inbound calls from patients and providers regarding the status of the order, services provided, and financial support options.

• Identify and report adverse events.

• Accurately filling out and submitting prior authorizations to PBMs.

• Other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.
