Salary Range:$13.00 To 13.00 Hourly

POSITION SUMMARY

The employee in this position is responsible for providing a warm welcome to all guests entering or departing the hotel. The front desk is the first impression on the guests so it is very important to always be polite to our guests and to greet them with a smile. All front desk agents must be able to display good customer service skills along with problem solving skills.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following statements are intended as general examples of the duties of this position and are not all-inclusive for specific positions. Other reasonable duties may be assigned.

  • Greet all guests
  • Check guests in/out
  • Accept payment/authorizations from all guests that are staying at the hotel
  • Keep all guests information and presence private and secure at all times
  • Cash handling
  • Light cleaning of the lobby (i.e. dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming)
  • Assist guests with luggage if asked
  • Solve any guest issues that may arise to the best of your ability
  • Keep proper guest records
  • Follow all SOP and Policies that are put into place
  • Manage special requests/wakeup calls
  • Assign guest rooms following special requests made by guests

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required
  • Proficient with computers/telephones
  • Able to multitask
  • Must be available to work various shifts, holidays and weekends
  • Must have great customer service skills - all of our positions come into contact with guests!
