Pay Range $20.93-$25.81*

Pharmacy – Pharmacy Technician – Part Time-Day Shift 8am to 4pm– Req (7237)

Assists the Pharmacist by filling physician orders for medications for oral, rectal, topical and inject use; mixes IV admixture solutions as required using aseptic technique in the Laminar Air Flow Hood. Types labels, prepares, and filed charge slips and performs other related duties.

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Certification Program.

• NYS Pharmacy Technician licensure.

• Pharmacy Technician certification.

• Ability to read and communicate effectively.

• Basic computer knowledge.

• Must possess and demonstrate knowledge of appropriate medication terminology, dosing dispensing and interactions for the age groups from newborn through the geriatric patient population served.

• Self-directed, motivated, excellent written and oral communication skills.

• One-year related pharmacy experience in a hospital setting is preferred
