NPI Project Manager

Description

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation

vehicles, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support

equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in

environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting

preserves.

  • Establish effective New Product Integration (NPI) timetables, capabilities, and capacities to define and achieve program milestones.

  • Communicate project performance to metrics and timelines through cadenced meetings and written reports.

  • Act as the interface with appropriate functional managers and cross-functional teams to ensure stakeholder needs are understood and incorporated into the project/program process.

  • Understand and adhere to Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and develop corrective actions and mitigation plans, as needed.

  • Manage metrics and drive root cause analysis and work in conjunction with the Continuous Improvement team to achieve project objectives.

  • Coordinate and assign project deliverables to cross functional teams to ensure sustainment of the project at completion.

  • Utilize Mfg Eng SMEs to effectively scope and manage NPI CAPEX projects to completion.

  • Contributes to a culture of respect, dignity, and inclusion, where everyone, feels heard and understood, empowered, and valued.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field required

  • Years of Experience: P2 – 3 years of relevant experience required

P3 – 6 years of relevant experience required

  • Software Knowledge: MRP/ERP experience required, SAP and TeamCenter preferred

  • Project Management and Quality Systems experience preferred
