Oracle Sales Operations Analyst in Carson City, Nevada

Job Functions

  • Business partnership with sales leaders - be trusted advisor to the Sales GVP and their leadership team.

  • In this role you will be responsible for working closely with individuals at multiple levels in sales, operations and finance. You will lead and drive operational cadence - implementing standard methodologies.

  • You will support the sales team with Oracle Sales Cloud and other Oracle Tools and Processes (i.e., SMC, SPA, etc.) adoption, standard methodologies, and reinforcement. You should have knowledge of internal Oracle departments and tools related to quoting, ordering, contracting, collections and booking to effectively troubleshoot direct and indirect order issues as well as develop program proposals to drive efficiency.

  • This role requires strong communication with all levels in the organization as well as proficiency with PowerPoint, as a tool of influence, and Excel, as an organizational and data analytics tool.

Responsibilities

Detailed Description and Job Requirements:

  • Provide ad-hoc analysis / reporting for Sales leadership to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization’s financial and tactical business objectives

  • Drive adoption of sales tools, processes and reporting dashboards to sales team

  • Collaborate with Sales leadership to manage a principled forecasting, pipeline management and deal review process

  • Responsible for analysis of forecast and pipeline data to identify gaps and trends; work with Sales Management team to address.

  • Proactively identify issues and provide ongoing data-driven recommendations to improve sales efficiency and support outstanding execution

  • Partner with Sales leadership to facilitate annual territory planning in addition to assisting sales team with handling territory integrity on an ongoing basis

  • Provide operational support to newly hired sales team members using corporate trainings and available resources

  • Serve as a liaison/partner when applicable with other groups such as Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Business Development, Compensation, etc. to assist with research and/or drive implementation of new processes and procedures

  • Other ad hoc responsibilities in support of Sales and Operations

Responsibilities

  • 8+ years of Sales Operations experience preferably in the technology / software industry

  • Strong reporting and data analysis skills using SI-DV and Excel

  • Strong presentation skills and comfortable presenting to sales leadership

  • High level of proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel

  • Strong attention to detail with quality and accuracy in data being a top priority

  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to clearly define the requirements of sales leaders and complete business needs

  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Self-motivated and able to handle multiple challenging priorities

  • Excellent English communication interpersonal skills, with an ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $79,000 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
