Job Title: Software EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer to support our Project/Building team with database management for the connectivity of our products. This role involves writing code and programming based on provided designs. Initially, there will be no site visits, but you will spend approximately half of your work hours in the office or home, and the remaining hours on-site implementing developed systems. The position supports HVAC and electrical installations in commercial buildings such as healthcare facilities, data centers, retail spaces, and office buildings. Responsibilities include ensuring data collected by Field Service Engineers is processed accurately and is usable. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of industry experience and intermediate knowledge of building controls software and automation. This role involves high-quality programming according to specifications, standards, budgets, and schedules, and participating in the design, installation, and servicing of building automation and security management systems. Daily supervision is provided by a Project Manager, with reporting to an Engineering or Software Manager.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Carrollton, Texas and some days remote.

Work Environment

Hybrid role with office and home-based work initially, followed by on-site work for implementation. Modern office with training rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Company vehicle provided for travel to customer sites. Majority of time split between office/home and on-site work in the Dallas area.
