Role Overview:
As our Project Manager: Inventory and Operations, you’ll be the essential bridge between clients, vendors, and our installation team, ensuring smooth project progression and successful installations. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you’ll coordinate post-order logistics, manage inventory, communicate with vendors, and assist with operational tasks, positioning yourself to take on greater responsibilities.
What a Typical Day Looks Like:
Project Management: Oversee projects at various stages, ensuring seamless coordination.
Warehouse Operations: Manage inventory, both virtually and physically, keeping our warehouse running smoothly.
Installer Support: Prepare materials and communicate product details to the installation team.
Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors and logistics partners to manage orders, deliveries, and schedules.
Scheduling & Problem-Solving: Assist with installation scheduling and address any challenges that arise.
Platform Updates: Keep Salesforce, Smartsheet, and vendor portals current with project status and details.
Timeline Oversight: Ensure projects stay on track by facilitating clear communication among all involved parties.
Onsite Visits: Occasionally visit project sites to assist with installations and deliveries (mileage reimbursed).
Customer Service Support: Handle repair requests and schedule service calls as needed.
Showroom Support: Provide coverage when required.
Out-of-State Travel: Potential for quarterly travel to support projects.
Who You Are:
We’re looking for someone with a "figure it out factor" and a strong organizational mindset. You should be comfortable managing multiple tasks, working independently, and pivoting via shifting priorities that you may notice autonomously or receive directives on. While interior design experience isn’t required, excellent organizational skills, inventory/process management, and multitasking abilities are essential.
Key Qualifications:
Organized & Detail-Oriented: Skilled at managing complex schedules and inventory.
Clear Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physically Capable: Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Tech-Savvy: Experience with Salesforce, MS Office, Smartsheet, or similar systems is a plus.
Customer Service Background: Experience in customer service, account management, or operations.
Inventory & Vendor Management: Knowledge of distribution, purchasing, or vendor relations is preferred.
Resourceful & Collaborative: A “figure-it-out” mindset and a drive to contribute to a supportive team.
Design & Luxury Experience: Bonus for those with a background in design or high-end in-home products.
