Qualifications for the position include but are not limited to:

• RN or LPN license in the State of New Mexico.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Salary:$30.00 - $38.50 per hour

Reporting Supervisor:Director of Nursing

Duties:

• The staff nurse is responsible for the monitoring of patients and medications for detox area during their shift
• Supervision of medication technicians during medication pass at Villa de Esperanza and Avalon facilities.
• Assessment of detox patients
• Determination of medications needed for detox process.
• Obtain/assess vital signs on all detox patients according to orders from NP with assistance of medication technician.
• Monitoring and maintenance of safe environment for all detox clients.
• Documentation in EHR, medication record is paper.
• Communication with DON of any need to send a client to higher level of care.
• Processing of NP orders
• Check in of medications delivered from pharmacy.
• Narcotics count every shift with oncoming nurse.
• Other duties as assigned.

Employment Hours: As needed - Sunday through Saturday, 12-hour shifts, 5:30am - 5:30pm, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM, or 5:30 PM - 5:30 AM
