Qualifications for the position include but are not limited to:

• RN or LPN license in the State of New Mexico.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

**Salary:$30.00 - $36.00 per hour

Reporting Supervisor:Charge Nurse

Duties:

• Assess admissions of new Detox and RTC clients, with EMR-Bear documentation.
• Continuous assessment of Detox patients to determine need for further medical intervention.
• Ongoing monitoring of Detox and RTC clients within the facility throughout the client's stay.
• Oversight of Med Tech performing vital signs and distribution of medications.
• Communication with Charge Nurse or on-call provider about immediate needs of clients.
• Maintaining stock medications, and ordering client and stock medications from facility pharmacy.
• Counting of controlled medications each shift with Med Techs to verify controlled medication count is accurate.
• Tracking outside appointments for RTC clients and ensuring clients are taken to outside appointments, including laboratory appointments for testing.
• Education of clients and other staff on medications, diet, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• May be necessary to team-lift up to 75 pounds.
• Other duties as assigned by Charge Nurse, Medical Director, or other leadership staff.
• Only RN can do IV push medication.

**Employment Hours: As needed - Sunday through Saturday, 12-hour shifts
