Southeast NM Community Action Corp Associate Director - Carlsbad in Carlsbad, New Mexico

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Associate Executive Director will be wholly immersed in all facets of agency business and operations consistent with agency policies, federal regulations, applicable laws and required funding source guidelines. The Associate Director will work closely with the Executive Director to provide leadership in planning, designing, implementing and evaluating operational systems and in representing the agency in local, regional, state and national communities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Executive Director in the day-today operations of the agency, undertaking staffing responsibilities when necessary to ensure services continues uninterrupted. Assumes direct management of the Community Services Department including all programs/initiatives funded by the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG). Ensures compliance with CSBG Performance Standards agency-wide. Coordinates and performs special projects as assigned by the Executive Director. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:*

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Public Administration, Human Resources, Sociology, Psychology or related field.
  • In addition, must have four (4) years related work experience.
  • Two (2) of the four years of experience preferred to have been in non-profit administration, governmental administration or management of social services programs or organizations.

Salary - This is an Exempt position $29.97 - $37.47 (Mid-point) hourlyor $56,103 - $70, 143 (mid-point) annual depending on qualifications (related experience, education, training, etc.)
