As an Inside Sales Representative II at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be part of the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD) team within IES Service Delivery. This role focuses on generating new sales opportunities and qualifying inbound leads using digital prospecting tools. You will have the opportunity to engage with prospects and existing customers, working towards monthly and quarterly lead conversion goals, as well as regional bookings targets for IES specific service product lines.

A day in the Life:

  • Conduct professional sales calls via telephone to drive profitable sales growth.

  • Develop a business plan to achieve sales goals and objectives with a focus on results.

  • Use Salesforce.com to track activities, gather customer information, and cultivate opportunities.

  • Participate in training and development programs to continuously improve sales skills.

  • Collaborate with internal and external team members to develop account-specific strategies.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Equivalent experience in Science or Business is acceptable, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree. Associate's Degree required.

Experience

  • Ideal candidates should possess a track record of sales experience, ranging from 0 to 5 years, with a preference for those who have worked in a business-to-business (B2B) setting.

  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Experience with digital prospecting tools and inbound lead qualification.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Proficiency in using Salesforce.com or similar CRM software.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

This position is fully remote and may require sitting for extended periods and occasional travel to customer locations. The work environment is fast-paced and may involve working with chemicals and laboratory equipment.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Wisconsin is $22.26–$29.68.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
