The primary responsibilities of companionship:
Friendly conversation
Medication reminders
Maintain a clean & safe environment
Incidental transportation/errands
Meal preparation
Plan recreational activities for client
Provide timely reminders
Assist with walking & light exercise
Other reasonable requests of client
Homemaker
The primary responsibilities of homemaker services:
Dust
Laundry & ironing
Organize closets and drawers
Bathroom maintenance
Change Linens
Kitchen maintenance
Vacuum, sweep and mop
Friendly conversation
Meal preparation & clean up
Personal Care
The primary responsibilities of personal care:
Shower/bath assistance
Incontinence/managed incontinence care
Personal hygiene assistance
Assistance with dressing
Walking assistance
Shampoo
Medication reminders
Routine transfer assistance
Assistance with light exercise
Attendant Care
The primary responsibilities of attendant care:
Friendly conversation
Incontinence/managed incontinence care

Basic Function:
The Caregiver, also known as a "SYNERGY CareTeam Member," is responsible for the overall care of clients that have been carefully matched and assigned to them.
SYNERGY Caregivers will provide quality care and build trusting relationships to attract and retain high quality clients. Our Caregivers will improve the quality of our client's lives by helping them age in place in the privacy of their own homes and live as independently as possible.
Responsibilities:
All SYNERGY Caregivers will be responsible for the following:
Maintaining and upholding our reputation as the most trusted name in home care by keeping our promises and providing compassionate, quality care at all times.
Communicating all schedule changes, concerns and any other pertinent care-related issues directly to the SYNERGY HomeCare office supervisor for each assigned client.
Also, documenting all care-related activities while maintaining strict compliance with all SYNERGY HomeCare guidelines and requirements. Additionally, following each and every duty as outlined in each client's plan of care.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Basic first aid training
- Valid driver's license and one other form of ID
- Current proof of auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Agree to random drug testing
- Pass national background check, state or FBI and childline
- Must be 18 years or older
- Vehicle registration
- Online training
- Continuing education/mandatory training
- Proof of Pennsylvania residency for 2 years
- Two step TB test
- Voided check
