Naval Facilities Engineering Command REALTY SPECIALIST in Capodichino, Italy

Summary You will serve as a REALTY SPECIALIST in the Naval Facilities Engineering Command of NAVAL FAC ENGR CMD EUROPE SW ASIA Capodichino, Italy. Responsibilities You will coordinate roles and responsibilities of assigned realty project to facilitate accomplishment of workload. You will negotiate, administer, and terminate agreements of a variety of special uses of real property. You will be responsible for realty planning for acquisition, in leasing, out grants, management, and disposal of interests in real property. You will plan for acquisition involving reconnaissance for site selection, developing general requirements, and coordinating and controlling administrative actions preliminary to actual acquisition of the real property interest. You will prepare land planning reports, which include final appraisals; title evidence; complete and adequately supported justification; and final budget for the acquisition project. You will provide guidance on real estate principles, regulations, practices and methods; formulating projects; and assessing program effectiveness. You will be responsible for the acquisition and disposal, management and utilization of real estate interests for both Navy and Marine Corps properties within the assigned area. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a Realty Specialist responsible for the acquisition and disposal, management and utilization of real estate interests. Specialized Experience may include: - Providing guidance on real estate principles, regulations, practices and methods - Management of real estate interests and planning issues of a large number of activities located within the assigned geographical area - Conducting market analyses, preparing Requests for Proposals (RFP) and preparing lease contracts for the procurement and administration of leases. - Plan, consult and coordinate realty actions (i.e., actions to acquire major and minor land, space, and/or structures) to support a real property management program NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for this position. The work is mostly sedentary in an office setting which includes sitting, standing, walking, operating telephones and operating computer equipment. The employee is required to travel to assigned activities and may lift/carry light objects, climb stairs, and bend and stoop to inspect facilities. This position may require travel to activities in the United States and/or globally. The work is primarily conducted in an office environment equipped with adequate ventilation, air conditioning, heating, lighting and toilet facilities. ICTAP Applicants: To be considered well-qualified and exercise selection priority as an ICTAP candidate, displaced Federal employees must satisfy all qualification requirements for the position and receive a rating in the highly qualified category (score 85) or higher.
