About the Role

As a Professional Support Lawyer, you will focus on developing and managing practical guidance content. You will review, draft, and maintain content for our subscription customers on UK immigration law. This will include guidance notes, templates and news items. You will utilize your practical experience in immigration law and practice, preferably in business immigration law to contribute.

Responsibilities

• Updating and drafting practical guidance on a range of regulatory and compliance issues.• Keeping abreast of and analysing changes to applicable UK legislation, Immigration Rules and guidance and case law.• Recognising changes that need to be made to practical guidance documents and templates.• Undertaking legal research on technical legal matters and drafting/updating templates in relation to aspects of law.• Developing essential knowledge resources which will improve the efficiency of the practitioners.• Keeping abreast of legal and market developments, including monitoring of anticipated developments, relevant to our customer base.• Collaborating with external authors regarding externally written guidance and templates.

Requirements

• Be an admitted Attorney with immigration law experience.• Have excellent attention to detail and a quality-oriented focus• Be able to communicate complex legal and procedural concepts and their practical application concisely, both verbally and in writing.• Have an ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team, adopting a flexible, can-do attitude• Be proactive and take responsibility for continually developing and expanding areas of expertise, skills and knowledge
